snoe.down show and ice skating - March 18, 2006
Posted by: Allen - moe. played an outdoor show at Whiteface Mountain. The show was killer, but it was freezing and snowing. I almost made it through the whole show, but I started to get too cold and had to head to the ski lodge to warm up. :) After Michael, Susan, and I went ice skating on the 1932 Olympic Rink. moe. played their night shows on the 1980 Olympic Rink where the Miracle on Ice took place.

Our New 2006 Acura TSX - May 1, 2006
Posted by: Allen - Check out our new 2006 Acura TSX. It's Carbon Gray with Ebony Interior. We got the model with the navigation system. The navigation has over 600 different voice commands that can control the temperature, stereo system, and can even "Find Nearest Chinese Restaurant". It's pretty sweet.

The indoor environment presented some very unique shooting challenges. The main one was my height :), along with other proud relatives, and difficult lighting conditions (no flash allowed during the ceremony).

Honeymoon - Daintree Rainforest, Australia - October 6, 2006
Posted by: Allen - We headed up to Port Douglas, about 1 hour north of Cairns, for the next 5 days of our Australia trip. We booked a tour with Daintree Safaris and had one of the best tour guides EVER! Nick was extremely knowledgeable about all the plant life and animals that we saw throughout the day. Unfortunately, we didn't remember all of the names by the time we got back to edit the pictures. :) On the tour with us was a family from Sydney.

Honeymoon - Mareeba Wetlands Reserve, Australia - October 8, 2006
Posted by: Allen - We went to the wetlands reserve after driving about 5 miles down a dirt road in the middle of nowhere. It was a little unsettling driving out there as we saw no other cars and the rental car was not exactly an off-road vehicle.

Posted by: Allen - Nick(the tour guide from the day before) told us to head out to the Tablelands region if we wanted to see Kangaroos in the wild. So Susan and I got up at 5:30am for the next few mornings and it was well worth it. The roos and wallabies were all over!

Posted by: Allen - This place was awesome! This lady owns a lot of land full of granite rock (hence the name) and she opened it up to the public. There are Rock Wallabies that live there and several are so tame that they will actually east out of the palm of your hand. More info check out the Tablelands Website

Honeymoon - Waterfall Circuit - Ravenshoe, Australia - October 9, 2006
Posted by: Allen - We took the car about an hour south of Mareeba to see various waterfalls. Each was unique in its own way. Milla Milla falls was our favorite. The overall scenery was amazing.
